BIOGRAPHY

Through the use of Oil, Charcoal and graphite, I look to captivate the viewer through simplicity, uniqueness and passion. I have devoted my creative endeavors to showcase genuineness, resilience, strength and vulnerability by capturing a moment in the lives of everyday people. Making connections between my Mental Health background and Creative skills, I have devoted my art to realism, and capturing the subjective human experience.

As a Mental health professional, I have dedicated part of my life to studying human behavior and helping individuals improve their lives. It is through this journey that I became fascinated in understanding the Human Experience and through my own travels and anectdotes, I was moved by the lives of people across the world. Through observation, connection, communication and experience, I dedicated My work to the unheard voices in our world.

In my work it is my goal to take you on a journey to help you understand the challenges that many people in this world face. The day to day challenges of survival bring about resilience and strength which is something that many of us take for granted, and it is prominent in my work of art.
